In the morning our driver will pick you from the Arusha airport at 8:40am and drive to Tarangire National Park by land cruiser. You will cross the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth largest and one of its most diverse. Stop at the picturesque park gate for the driver to fill up the park's registration book. You will go for a full day game drive in the park enjoying viewing animals in the park. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view; a 2,000-foot-high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. Elephant, buffalo, and python are seen easily regularly cross your path, un-bothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines. You’ll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River’s twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. In the evening drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight
